SFR has 20.4 million mobile customers

Le groupe Vivendi a dévoilé ce lundi ses résultats 2009. SFR a enregistré un chiffre d’affaires de 12 425 millions d’euros en 2009, soit une progression de 7,6% sur un an. L'opérateur a réussi à vendre 670 000 iPhone.
The turnover of mobile activity amounted to 8 983 million, unchanged compared to 2008. Its adjusted operating profit totaled 2.53 billion, down 74 million.During the year 2009, SFR added nearly 743 000 net new mobile customers. The subscriber base reached 14.8 million clients at end-December 2009, an improvement of 3.5 points in the customer mix in one year to 72.6%. The second French mobile operator has therefore 20.4 million mobile customers at end 2009.In addition, the success of the iPhone is confirmed with 670 000 sales between April and end in December 2009. With smartphones, the share of data services in mobile turnover increased from 17.7% in 2008 to 23.7% in 2009.
