The wait continues to endure for those who await the first Android smartphone from Sony Ericsson. Presented to the press last December, the Xperia X10 has been announced in Android 1.6 (donut), while version 2.1 has emerged including the Nexus One.
A sacred thorn in Sony Ericsson which will make the Xperia X10, a high-end smartphone. The manufacturer has decided to respond by announcing that the smartphone will be well "upgradable" to Android 2.1 via an update will be available during the marketing of the device, originally expected during February.
Fully touch the Xperia X10 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8250 processor clocked at 1GHz and is equipped with a screen 4-inch capacitive displaying a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels (WVGA). It also loads a 8.1 megapixel camera with flash autofocus, smile detection and geolocation (chip A-GPS). In RAM, we can count on an internal memory of 1GB and a microSD card of 8 GB will be provided.
The device will be compatible with broadband networks with HSPA technology and wireless Bluetooth, WiFi and have a micro USB port and a 3.5mm jack to connect to any helmet Audio.

The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 will be available at a price of 600 euros excluding subscription. It will be offered in black and white.
