Orange is now accelerating the deployment of voice services for mobile HD across Europe, adding to its Roadmap 2010 France, Spain and Luxembourg.
After its establishment in 2006 for VoIP, voice HD Mobile is a new step in the strategy of Orange HD voice.In September 2009, Orange was the first operator worldwide to launch the marketing of a voice service for mobile HD in Moldova, while announcing the introduction of service in the United Kingdom and Belgium in 2010.

Customers who use the High Definition voice on their mobile will receive the best sound quality possible with a more rich and natural. The background noises are also reduced. Orange plans to rapidly expand the range of mobile phones compatible with HD voice throughout Europe.
HD Voice technology incorporates codec AMR-WB (Adaptive Multirate-Wideband), which covers a wider range of 50-7000 Hz, instead of the standard cover current 300-3400 Hz, while using the same network resources.
