LG GT540 dedicated to social networks

LG announces the commercialization of next May's latest smartphone, the LG GT540 optimized for entertainment and social networks and based on Google's Android platform.


In the footsteps of GW620, the first Android smartphone from LG, the GT540 offers a fun environment via its SNS Manager tool for social networks designed by LG, and offering a quick and easy access to social networking sites most popular currently as Facebook and Twitter.
The smartphone EDGE / 3G includes a 3-inch touchscreen (320 x 480 pixels), a camera Auto Focus 3 megapixel, playback DivX and WMV formats, and up to 32 GB of memory expandable via a microSD card.Powered by the Android OS, the GT540 is of course compatible with all mobile services from Google, the GT540 offers including access to Google Maps, Google Search, Gmail, YouTube and Android Market, where users can download applications and games of their choice from among the thousands of titles.
The LG GT540 will be marketed in France from May 2010 at a price of 300 € without subscription. It is available in four color variations.
