HTC HD mini, a compact version HD2

HTC announces the launch of the HTC HD mini, a Windows Phone, which incorporates the features of the famous HD2 in a more compact design. It will be available in April for 449 euros.

The Mini HD is a Windows Mobile smartphone that uses HTC 6.5.3 Sense. Like the HD2 HTC, the HTC HD mini offers a people-centric approach. From the same menu, you can see all communications related to a contact: calls and exchanged emails, SMS or an update to his Facebook status. HTC has also included a new version of its integrated application of Twitter, HTC Peep. The Mini HD embeds a multipoint capacitive touch screen 3.2 inches (320 x 480 pixels HVGA), a digital camera with 5 megapixel auto-focus and LED Flash, A-GPS chip, an audio jack of 3.5 mm, an FM tuner, a micro SD slot, 512 MB ROM, 384 MB of RAM and a fast HSDPA/3.5G connectivity, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
