The year 2009 has seen the rise seamless the iPhone that allows Apple to become the new number two on the French mobile market with 20.6% market share in value.
Supported by the French craze for the iPhone, Apple has to climb to second place (in value) of the French market of mobile phones in 2009, according to GfK figures listed by the daily Le Figaro. The U.S. firm is now credited with a market share of 20.6% in value, ahead of Nokia which weighs more than 16.9%!
Samsung has continued its tremendous growth in France and remains a big lead with 28.8% market share in value and 35.6% in volume! Another South Korean LG, has also benefited from the year 2009 to increase its market share:

On the only smartphone market, Apple dominates with 50% of sales value, followed by Nokia (16.4%), HTC (12.1%), Blackberry (11.6%), and Samsung only 5.1%. The South Korean manufacturer has already announced that it had tripled its sales of smartphones in 2010.
