Nokia's New Dual Mode

 

Nokia has started his 6650  of the world's first dual-mode 3GPP compliant GSM/WCDMA. It sounds like a really neat idea as it's able to handle seamless handovers (from GSM to WCDMA and back). The Nokia 6650 is expected to become available in Europe, Asia and Japan as mobile operators roll out their 3G services. Depending on the carrier's network, it can operate as a plain GSM phone, combo GSM/3G or just a 3G.
